Parking

Because of our ideal downtown core location, consider leaving the car at home, because attractions are in walking distance from the Inn. You'll save money and the environment too!

From the airport, a taxi ride to downtown is about $30 and, the local bus #97 is $3.00.

Onsite parking (see photo)
available at the rate of $12.00 per night per vehicle on a first come first serve basis (3pm to 2pm next day). No in-and-out privilages.

Off-site parking
• Free on street over night parking is available in the summertime.
• A public parking lot with daily rates is on Besserer street
whitin 1 block from our Inn..
(approx. $14.00/24 hours).
• Underground parking available at the Rideau Shopping Center for approx. $15.00/24hrs or $18.00/24 hours - daily pass with in-out privilages.

Driving Directions

From Airport

Depart airport on 'Airport Parkway'. Exit onto Bronson Avenue. Follow Bronson into downtown core and turn right onto Laurier Avenue. Turn left off Lauroer onto Cumberland. Inn is a few blocks on right.

From Toronto/Montreal
via Highway 417

Exit 417 Nicholas Street. Continue to Laurier ave - turn right. Turn left off Laurier onto Cumberland. Gasthaus Switzerland Inn is on your right side corner of Cumberland and Daly.

From Hull/Gatineau
via Highway 5

Continue on highway 5 and cross Macdonald-Cartier bridge into Ottawa. Continue on King Edward avenue. two blocks past Rideau street intersection turn right onto Daly avenue. Gasthaus Switzerland Inn is on your right.
